On the 5 April 2019, the proposed design for the new Livesey Exchange building on Old Kent Road was presented for the first time.

Livesey Exchange becomes a reality on Old Kent Road, Southwark Council suggested an alternative site on the corner of St. Jame’s Street.
Give it a try! Local fabricators will share their skills and run a series of hands-on making sessions at the Livesey Exchange – a new venue for skill building on Old Kent Road.
Guided tours on the 23 June 2017 will offer a window into the Old Kent Road’s wider industrial goings-on, taking visitors behind closed doors to see businesses in action.
On Saturday 24 June, Livesey Exchange is becoming a hub for hands-on making and insight, giving local people a way-in to this sometimes hard to enter world.

The Ledbury Estate in Peckham is a great example of the kind of post-war building most overlooked by fans of modern architecture.

Great news! Livesey Exchange has successfully attracted capital funding from the Mayor’s Regeneration Fund with match funding from Southwark Council.
Jules Pipe, London Deputy Mayor for planning, regeneration & came to see the Livesey Exchange in the making today.
Proposed changes to the garages will be discussed with the Ledbury Estate residents.
Livesey Exchange proposals will be part of an exhibition at the New London Architecture Centre from 13 October to 17 December 2017.
